Ultimate Game of the Year ανακυρήχθηκε το Black Myth:Wukong στα Golden Joystick Awards 2024
Σε ένα εκπληκτικό ντεμπούτο, το Black Myth: Wukong από την κινεζική εταιρεία ανάπτυξης Game Science ήρθε από το πουθενά και έγινε ένα από τα παιχνίδια με τις μεγαλύτερες πωλήσεις της χρονιάς. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη ότι πρόκειται για μια single player εμπειρία, μια νέα IP και ο πρώτος τίτλος της εταιρείας, πρόκειται για ένα μοναδικό επίτευγμα. Σε αναγνώριση αυτών των επιτευγμάτων, το Black Myth: Wukong ανακηρύχθηκε ως Golden Joystick Ultimate Game of the Year, ξεκινώντας τη σεζόν των βραβείων με εντυπωσιακό τρόπο.

Τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια, τόσο τα The Game Awards όσο και τα Golden Joysticks ανακήρυξαν τους ίδιους νικητές GotY, το Elden Ring το 2022 και το Baldur’s Gate 3 το 2023. Αν συνεχιστεί η παράδοση και φέτος, το Wukong έχει πολλές πιθανότητες να είναι ο μεγάλος νικητής και στα The Game Awards στις 13 Δεκεμβρίου.
